We saw this aquarium when getting around in Jeju Town after savoring abalone supper.
There was a card with Chinese character at the aquarium. The Chinese word means "The Fish Can Speak Chinese".
We were enjoying supper in this restaurant after getting around in Jeju of South Korea.
We ordered two dishes for our supper. First order was Jeju abalones as shown in the photo.
Second dish was large scallops. The taste of the scallops is better than abalones. The price of each dish is 30 thousands Won.
Spider crabs are also served by this restaurant. As we do not like to eat crabs, so we didn't order spider crabs.
We followed the road in
front of sushi stall to Jeju Town after savoring dinner.
Try to guess what is this shop? Based on the information of the billboard, perhaps it's a karaoke.
The roads around Jeju Town were flooded with vehicles. Shops along the street were brightly lit up. The shining light had brightened the sky of Jeju night.
There is a 7-11 politics party in Malaysia. Coincidentally, a 7-11 Hotel is also available in Jeju. Actually that's a 7-11 Convenience Shop in the Gaia Hotel.
ABC-Mart is a shop selling branded shoes. Beyond branded shoes, this shop also sells other sport products. There is a larger ABC-Mart at Myeongdong, Seoul.
Getting out from Vegas Hotel, we were heading to Jeju town to take dinner. We stopped at this food stall just a few steps beside the hotel.
A bright food signboard was placed in front of this food stall. There were bilingual on the signboard. They were Korean and Chinese. Luckily we can read Chinese. If not we had to use finger language.
Based on the food signboard menu, I ordered a big bowl of pork noodles with seaweed. The ingredient of the pork noodles are carrot, noodles, seaweed, Jeju pork, spring onion, bean sprouts and pickled radish.
During our Jeju trip last year, we stayed in Vegas Hotel which is located at Jeju Town.
The floor carpet is truly beautiful. The design of the corridor reveals the beauty and luxury of Vegas Hotel.
The elegant light spilled on the cozy and large bed. We slept soundly during our three days two nights visit to Jeju Island.
Beyond the spacious bedroom, there is a full furnished living room. Sit in the sofa and watch television to relax yourself.
The bathroom is clean and bright. Take a warm water shower to be refreshed and get ready for journey of the following day.
The hotel lobby layout and decoration is really amazing. Fortunately I am able to identify the direction. If not I may lost my way in the hotel.
A wide range of food is provided for hotel guests. You have the choice to eat a little or to eat until you are full. It's up to you to make the decision.

Visiting to Jeju Seongeup Folk Village is as if taking a walk down memory lane. It's crystal clear that South Korea government is truly dedicated to improve the living condition of Koreans.

Although the buildings in Seongeup Folk Village are built similar to the old times but they are different with the residence in Bukchon and the houses in Namsangol Hanok Village. It may be the living environments of these places are not the same.
The stuff in front the house is hay. The hay is used for making house roof after tying with ropes. The wall of the house is constructed with lava rocks. The gaps among the rocks are filled with clay mud.
The rock walls surround the house are also piled with lava rocks. As a small island, Jeju Island is always facing hit by strong wind. The rock walls are built for preventing the house from blowing away by strong wind.
This stone pillar is the gate of the house of islander. If the stone pillar is not latched, it means the house owner is at home.
These little yellow flowers are rape flowers. I was surprised with the name of these flowers after doing a Google search.
Getting
down from Ilchulbong Sunrise Peak, we proceed to Songup Folk Village. We passed by Hallasan foothill horse ranch on the way to Songup Folk Village.
The tourist guide stopped the car for us to rest for a while. Although the field was wide and green but there wasn’t any horse in the field.
Besides the stone statue, horse is also the symbol of Jeju Island. Jeju Island is a volcanic island. The soil is fertile and suitable for grass growth. This is an advantage for Jeju Island to be a natural horse ranch.
There are two species of horses in Jeju Island. They are Jeju Horse and Halla Horse (The crossbred of Jeju Horse and thoroughbred). Jeju Horses are bred as food and Halla Horses are used for horse racing.
Dragon Head Rock located on the eastern coast of Jeju City. The length of Dragon Head Rock is around 30 meter. The height of dragon head emerges from water surface is about 10 meter.
The rock is named as Dragon Head Rock because it resembles a dragon head. Based on the signboard information, Dragon Head Rock was formed after volcanic lava frozen.
There is a rock statue of woman diver near Dragon Head Rock. The woman diver is Jeju woman who is truly skillful in diving. Their routine is dealing with scooping fish, abalone, seaweed and shellfish
It so happened that I saw this scooping net left on the rock. This is the net used by the woman diver for scooping.

Ilchulbong means sunrise
peak. It's located at the eastern part of Jeju Island. Ilchulbong is around 40
km from Jeju International Airport. The height of Ilchulbong is 182 meter.
After leaving Jeju International Airport, we headed to Ilchulbong which is nearby Songsan. Actually visiting Ilchulbong was the second day itinerary of our Jeju Island trip. Based on the weather forecast, it would rain on that day so we changed our schedule.

Due to old age, we had to rest for a few times before reaching the peak. Finally we overcome our
weariness and conquered the peak.
There were quite many elderly tourists climbing Ilchulbong. They moved step by step and arrived at the peak with confident.
Visitors had to pass by Songsan before climbing Ilchulbong. Songsan is small town at the foot of Ilchulbong. It takes about 2 hours to board a bus from Jeju International Airport to Songsan. Travel from Seogwipo at southern Jeju, the traveling time is around 2 and half hours.
Before leaving Ilchulbong, take five and have some refreshments at Songsan. In case you like donuts, you can try Jeju donuts at Dunkin' Donuts.
Located in Jeju Island,
Jeju International Airport is the third largest airport in South Korea.
Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport is the largest and
the second largest airport respectively.
We flew to Incheon and hung out in Suwon for two days. After leaving Suwon, we headed to Seoul and stayed overnight at Sejong Inn.
The next morning, a staff of VIP Travel drove us to Gimpo International Airport. From Gimpo International Airport, we took off with JinAir flight to Jeju Island.
