Kongsai Village is a mini village in Jasin Malacca.
The villagers of Kongsai Village like to plant fruit trees and flowering plants.
This Google map shows the location of Kongsai Village. It's located in the middle of Jasin and Bemban.
Kongsai Village is surrounded by rubber trees. Most of the villagers of Kongsai Village are rubber tappers.
I don't miss the chance to capture this photo of a rubber tree. The latex had already condensed and attached to the rubber tree trunk.
After the rubber tree trunk is tapped, the latex will flows into the cup before condensing. Nowadays the rubber is sold in the form condensed rubber.
There are two types of rubber tapping knife. The knife on the left is upward rubber tapping knife and the knife on the right is downward rubber tapping knife.
This photo demonstrates how to tapped rubber using upward rubber tapping knife. If you observe carefully, you will notice that the trunk in the photo is not a rubber tree trunk. Actually it's a papaya plant.

Jasin Town is about 28 km from Malacca Town. It’s the administrative center of Jasin District.

Although it's a mini town, the traffic condition of Jasin Town is same as most of the big cities in Malaysia.
This row of old building is located along Jalan Kesang in Jasin Town. The building was built in 1927. That's almost hundred years ago.
Besides Sports Toto, Magnum and Big Sweep are also available in Jasin Town. I am a loyal sponsor and donate money regularly to these three companies.
Indian residents can be seen shopping in Jasin Town. Most of them are from rubber and oil palm plantations around Jasin Town. These plantations were started by British in the past.
This is the photo of Kamala Theater in Jasin Town. Kamala Theater had stopped operating for long time. It's believed to be unable to compete with the video tape movie during the 80s.
There are many shops operate by Indian in Jasin Town. These shops include barber shops and grocery stores.
This traditional grocery store is at Jalan Kesang. A wide range of food and daily stuffs are sold in this store.
Besides Qing Long Gong, there is another temple around Jasin. This temple is named Zhen Jiang Gong and located at Selandar.
The craftsmanship of the magnificent arch is truly superb. It has turned into a tourist hotspot at Selandar. Many tourists are impressed by the spectacular arch and flock to Zhen Jiang Gong to take photo and video.
The magnificent Qing Long Gong is located in Selandar, Jasin. We dropped by Qing Long Gong on the way back to Merlimau after visiting Selandar Farm in Jun.
The splendid Qing Long Gong is really breathtaking. The unique structure of the roof resembles birds flying in the sky. This extraordinary temple appeared in a small town is truly incredible.
Besides fruit trees, there were two antique cars displayed at Jasin Selandar Farm. The cars reminded
me of an old joke on Volkswagen.
The owner of a Volkswagen was very surprised when he discovered his vehicle's engine was missing. He called a mechanic to repair his car. The mechanic opened the rear cover of the Volkswagen. The owner whispered to himself, "Luckily Volkswagen is different with Malaysia TUDM jet."

Passion fruit is also known as buah susu or buah markisa in Malay. The passion fruit plant is a climbing vine. The fruit is rich in health nutrient such as fiber, mineral, vitamin and antioxidants.
The water apples (bell fruit) hanging on the branch were not so red. May be it's a common species of water apple tree.
A friend of mine invited me to join his durian hunt on July 9 in Jasin, Malacca. My friend is from Kuala Lumpur. He was on leave because of the 709 special Holiday.
There was another friend joined the durian hunt. This friend has a unique smelling capability. By smelling the durian fruit, he can tell you the taste of the durian flesh.
It's so coincident that Bersih and the durian flesh are both yellow in color.
