Western Australia Farmstay


Western Australia Farmstay

We stayed overnight in a farm during our Western Australia trip.

We were heading to the farm with this bus after visiting Caversham Wildlife Park.

Sheep

It's too long ago, that's why I couldn't remember the name and location of the farm.

Llama

Besides sheep, there were other animals such as cattle, horses, and llamas in the farm. Llama is mini camel without hump.

Various activities were provided for visitors. Riding horse was one of the activities we had experienced in the farm.

Sheep Shearing

This was the photo of a sheep shearer showing his wonderful skill of shearing a sheep. It really needs to be skillful to shear a sheep. If not, your ass will be kicked by the sheep.

Old School Bus

This was the old school bus of the farm for "Bumpy Ride" around the farm. The bus driver drove the old school bus up and down hill. This "Bumpy Ride" was truly fantastic.

Visitors were allowed to feed the animals in the farm. My wife was with a worker of the farm feeding a lamb. The two boys behind them are my sons.

Fraser Hill Smokehouse


Smokehouse

We proceeded to Smokehouse after relaxing in Fraser Hill Public Park.

There is no smoke around Smokehouse although its name is Smokehouse.

From what I know, Smokehouse was built during British Colonial. The building is preserved in good condition until now. It's the place where British stayed for holidays at Fraser Hill during the old times.

Now Smokehouse has turned into a hotel which provides accommodation for Fraser Hill visitors. Besides accommodation, Smokehouse also provides distinctive food and beverage for customers.

Smokehouse was built according to the architecture of buildings found in the countryside of England. That's why staying at Smokehouse as if staying in England countryside.

Tea Set

This tea set is made with tin. The tea set is not for serving drink. It's for displaying at Smokehouse Cafe. Apart from the tea set, there are many antiques made with copper displaying at the cafe.

This is the photo of Smokehouse living room. The layout of living room resembles the living room of house in England.

Photos and furniture shows the nostalgia ambience. Especially in front of the fireplace, it's where family gathers during cold winter.

There is a mini garden outside Smokehouse.

You can relax in the mini garden in the morning and evening. Beyond enjoy the cool breeze, you can listen to various species of birds tweet in the mini garden.


Honey Bee

There are many colorful daisies in the mini garden. A honey bee was busy collecting honey and pollen on a yellow daisy.

I didn't have technique and a camera zoom lens to take amazing photo. If not I would take a good shot of the bee with the yellow daisy.

This is Pahang first State Mosque because Kuala Lipis was the capital of Pahang during British colonial.

State Mosque is also known as Madrasathul Firdaus. As one of the old buildings in Kuala Lipis, State Mosque was built in 1888.

Maintenance work was in progress when we dropped by State Mosque. Government should preserve historical buildings and national heritage.

Trengganu Crystal Mosque

We moved to Crystal Mosque after visiting Trengganu State Museum.

Located at Wan Man Island, Crystal Mosque was completed in 2008.

Built at Trengganu River bank, Crystal Mosque has turned into a popular tourist attraction in Kuala Trengganu.

Crystal Mosque is an amazing building built with steel, glass and crystal. Apart from Muslim visitors, Crystal Mosque also attracts other visitors because of the unique structure of the mosque.

Crystal Mosque will be flooded with visitors during weekend and school holiday.

As far as I know, there are no resident at Wan Man Island. That's why not many Muslims pray in Crystal Mosque except tourists who visit the mosque.

Taiwan Vigor Kobo Bakery

Vigor Kobo Bakery was one of our visiting destinations during our Taiwan trip.

Upon arrival at Vigor Kobo Bakery, we were directed to DIY section for experiencing the excitement of making pineapple cookies.

A worker of Vigor Kobo Bakery was demonstrating the basic way of making pineapple cookies to visitors.

In the process of making pineapple cookies, a few molds were provided for making various forms of interesting pineapple cookies.

These were two of the pineapple cookies made by my wife. The pineapple cookies were fragrant but I dared not to taste them.

The ready make pineapple cookies were packed with this box. My wife finished eating all the pineapple cookies before returning to Malaysia.

After DIY segment, we were heading to manufacturing department to see the process of making pineapple cookies with machine.


These replica pineapples were truly charming. Chinese believe that pineapple is the symbol of fortune. That's why Chinese like to hang pineapple lanterns.

There are a few procedures of making pineapple cookies. These steps are preparing materials, wrapping stuffing, baking cookies, remove cookies from the molds and finally packing pineapples cookies.

Giant Pineapple

This was the giant pineapple displaying at the sale space. Visitors were grabbing to pose under the giant pineapple to take photos.

According to the tourist guide, you will be fortunate after taking photo with the giant pineapple.


Vigor Kobo Cookies

We purchased several favor of Vigor Kobo cookies. The cookies were chestnut cookies, sun milk cookies, pineapple cookies and green bean cookies.

Green bean cookie means cookie with green bean stuffing. I like green bean cookie but my wife prefers chestnut cookie.
