Time really flies. It's already 2018.

Malaysia currency depreciated madly and caused price hike terribly in 2017.

An urgent economic reform is needed in order to enhance the living condition of Malaysians.

Christmas Celebration In Portuguese Settlement

This is another post with video clip that about Christmas celebration. The first and second video clips for previous posts were recorded in Perth, Australia. This video clip was taken in Portuguese Settlement.

Perhaps you think that Portuguese Settlement is in Portugal but actually it's not. For your information, Portuguese Settlement is in historical city of Malacca, Malaysia.

Portuguese Settlement formerly was a fishing village but has turned into a quite populated residential area. Most of the residents here are descendants of Portuguese. They celebrate Christmas every year by decorating their houses with beautiful light.

The Malacca State Tourism Authority promotes this settlement to be a tourist attraction. The Lisbon Hotel was built here recently to provide accommodation for tourists. There is a square here with pubs, restaurants and souvenir shops. There will be performance of Portugal folk dances during week end to entertain visitors from all over the world.

Rooster New Year Highlights

We enjoyed steamboat dinner during Lunar New Year's Eve.

Although the food was not abundant, the steamboat dinner was very extraordinary because it was a meaningful family reunion.

These were the red packets given by my children. The amount of the money is not important as long as they have the good intention.

We savored pizza which was bake by our daughter in law during second day morning of Lunar New Year.

I went out to do something during the fourth day of Lunar New Year. On the way, I was so shocked when saw a ghost in a Kenari car.

On the fifth day of Lunar New Year, we saw our son off to Singapore at Malacca bus terminal.

Before returning home, we dropped by Sushi Zanmai Restaurant.

Do you know what food is this?

We ordered natto as appetizers. Korean and Japanese are fond of eating the nutritious natto.

After taking lunch, we wefied in front Sushi Zanmai Restaurant.

Located in The Shore Hotel building, the food and the service provided by Sushi Zanmai Restaurant are good.

No news broadcasting during Lunar New Year. My wife missed the handsome broadcasters.

Our children have started to work. It's again my wife and I tasting the cookies for the afternoon tea time.

Doraemon Celebrates Christmas

Apart from "Snoopy and Charlie Brown", I also like to watch "Nobita and Doraemon".

My wife and I went to Malacca Dataran Pahlawan recently. It was a big surprise for us to meet Doraemon there.

Deepavali is coming to Malacca. Jalan Bendahara is in festive mood.

There are many shops possess by Indian along Jalan Bendahara. That's why the street is named as Little India of Malacca.

Among the shops are law firms, restaurants, clothing stores, barber shops, mini markets and grocery stores. If you wish to purchase some Indian foods and goods, Indian shops available at Jalan Bendahara are ideal for you to shop.

Happy Auspicious Horse Year

Recently the price of various stuffs increase tremendously.

Malaysians are sick of the crucial price hike problem. Luckily we have a Kangkung Prime Minister Najib who works so hard to deliver Kangkung Entertainment to us.

Hopefully Kangkung Prime Minister Najib sorts out the price soaring issue in the coming Auspicious Horse Year. So that Malaysians no need to eat kangkung every day.

2014 Price Soaring Year

2014 will be a miserable year for Malaysians because of the terrible price hike after 505 13th Malaysia General Election.

New taxes, subsidy cuts, highway toll increase, electricity price hike and prices for essentials rise in 2014 will cause Malaysians crazy.

Is this the objective of BN Transformation Program?

If this is the case, BN has to face the risk of downfall in the next Malaysia General Election.

Price Hike Christmas

After 505 13th Malaysia General Election, the price of various goods has soared up. This price hike problem has caused low income group of people live in misery.

I will be emotional during this festive season every year. Before retire, I would be busy preparing teaching materials for the coming year. Now I will recall the bitter and sweet of my teaching life for decades.

Dance OF Golden Snake

"Dance of Golden Snake" is my favorite Chinese music.

I didn't expect it turned out as one of the works of Nie Er who was the composer of People's Republic of China national anthem "March of the Volunteers".

Get rid of the old to make way for the new is the custom of Chinese celebrating Lunar New Year. Hopefully during the Golden Snake Year, Malaysians dare to change the old government and achieve the two-party system.

Malaysia needs change for better tomorrow.

First New Year After End The World

The end of the world is finally over. Thanks god, I am still alive. Hopefully the money will roll in for me this year.

What a pity, I am not the clique of Barisan Nasional. If not, I can be the neighbor of the condominium cow. The life of Malaysian is truly worthless and cannot be compared with the condominium cow.

As I and the condominium cow are unable become neighbor, I wish the god of fortune will bless me. The lifelong career of feminine is to dress up and make up beautifully to please their lovers. My lifelong career is to support three betting companies in Malaysia.

Don't mistake me as a gambler. In fact, I am doing good deeds to contribute to the community.

Christmas After End Of The World

Christmas this year is super meaningful.

It's nice to be still around after the end of the world. So, how do you celebrate this Christmas?

For the previous Christmas, sometime I dropped by Portuguese Settlement to share the festive joy with the residents.

Have a candlelight dinner, hmmm...... I am not so romantic. I am too old for the countdown. Usually go dining or shopping to reward myself.

Talking of Christmas, always remind me of my trip to Perth of Australia. It happened to be Christmas Eve at that time. My family and I were lucky to see the Christmas parade.

Deepavali has come to Jalan Bendahara in Malacca.

Jalan Bendahara is also known as Malacca Little India. There are abundant Indian shops along Jalan Bendahara. When you are at Jalan Bendahara, as if you are at a street somewhere in India.

Maha Devi and Ramasamy Nadesan Chettiar are two of the grocery stores available at Jalan Bendahara. In case you need any Indian stuff, just drop by Jalan Bendahara, you will get what you want.

Maxis Communications Berhad sent me a Rice Dumpling Festival MMS greeting yesterday.

After decades of toiling, I have totally lost the track of time. The message sent by Maxis Communications Berhad reminded me the Dragon Boat Festival.

Serving as a teacher for years, my simple life can't be compared with the lucky costly condominium cattle. Cattle are more important than human being in Malaysia. This is indeed Malaysia Boleh.

Chinese New Year Shopping Spree

When talking about Chinese New Year celebration, I must relate it to Wang Xiaoer who was a poor man in the old time. Although I am as poor as Wang Xiaoer, I am not exempted from celebrating Chinese New Year.

As Chinese New Year is just a few days away, I have to shop all the New Year stuffs. When ever go for New Year shopping, I am vastly discontent with the severe inflation. Someone's cattle live in upscale condominiums and drive luxurious cars, while taxpayers find it so difficult to possess simple houses for shelter.

My New Year wish is expecting a "clean government" would be formed in Malaysia after the coming 13th general election.

Smurfs Celebrate Christmas At Dataran Pahlawan

Ho ho ho, Christmas is coming. In most cases, Santa Claus is super busy delivering gifts to children during this festive season.

This year Smurfs are celebrating Christmas with all the visitors of Dataran Pahlawan Megamall in Malacca. Smurfs is the theme of Christmas layout at Dataran Pahlawan Megamall.

When it comes to Smurfs, it reminds me of my children because Smurfs was one of their favorite television programs when they were young.

Smurfs are small blue fictional creatures of comic and television cartoon program. Dataran Pahlawan Megamall showcases Smurfs as the theme of Christmas decoration in conjunction with the roll out of Smurfs 3D movie recently.

Malacca SJKC Chung Hwa Children's Day

Children's Day is undoubtedly a popular festival among the children in Malaysia. This touching festival is celebrated every year in October.

The children are truly joyful during Children's Day. They will dress up neatly to attend the long awaited ceremony. Every child will be given some presents. Beyond that, they will perform singing and dancing programs.

"Dong Dong Qiang Dong Dong Qiang", the fierce tiger was being sent off. "Gong Xi Gong Xi", this is the year of tame rabbit of Lunar calendar.

Hopefully all go well in the year of rabbit. Especially inflation will not become worse otherwise I am going to hang myself.
