KK Welcome Seafood Restaurant

Welcome Seafood Restaurant

During our stay in Sabah, we dined at Kota Kinabalu Welcome Seafood Restaurant at second night.

Welcome Seafood Restaurant

We ordered three dishes for our seafood dinner. The first dish was steamed tiger grouper.

Although this swimming tiger grouper was fresh but it's not as delicious as the steamed red snapper of Sekinchan Ten Tian Lai Seafood Restaurant.

Welcome Seafood Restaurant

The second dish was steamed big prawns. These big prawns were also very fresh but I prefer the butter prawns of Ten Tian Lai Seafood Restaurant.

Welcome Seafood Restaurant had to serve too many customers. Perhaps that's the reason the restaurant unable to provide tasty food.

Welcome Restaurant

Instead this plate of bracken was quite mouth watering.

The business of Welcome Seafood Restaurant is super good but this doesn't mean that the food it serves is perfect.

It's no doubt that everyone's appetite is different. So I can't comment that the food of Welcome Seafood Restaurant is not good enough.

Address:
Lot G 13-18, Ground Floor, Kompleks Asia City,
Jalan Asia City, 88300 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.

After savoring mini cup of coffee at Volendam and Saint Germain, I was amazed with the big glass of coffee served by Fu Yuan Coffee Shop.

Why coffee drinking culture between Asia and Europe are so different?

Dim Sum

Apart from bread and coffee, Fu Yuan Coffee Shop also provides dim sum which is almost same with dim sum available in Peninsular.

Fu Yuan Coffee Shop is a self service shop. Food and beverage of Fu Yuan Coffee Shop are average. Most of the workers of Fu Yuan Coffee Shop are like robot.

Sabah KK Yu Kee Bak Kut Teh

Yu Kee

Yu Kee Coffee Shop is the most crowded eatery at Gaya Street of KK in Sabah.

A photo speaks a thousand words. The well known bak kut teh of Yu Kee attracts hundreds of customers daily.

Bak Kut Teh

This is the photo of Yu Kee bak kut teh. How's the taste of Yu Kee bak kut teh? Well it depends on your taste buds. I dare not to comment. If compare with the bak kut teh which I had taken before, Yu Kee bak kut teh is nothing special.

Based on my observation, most of the diners are tourists from China. According the information from the locals, the KK city folks seldom visit Yu Kee Coffee Shop. It shows that the patrons of Yu Kee are mainly tourists.
