Barcelona Overturned Paris St-Germain

Spain La Liga Team Barcelona achieved the impossible mission of England Premier League Team Arsenal in Europe Champions League round of 16.

Barcelona was beaten 0--4 by French League 1 Paris Saint-Germain during the away match at Paris Princes Park Stadium. They hoped to win Paris Paris Saint-Germain by great margin during the second leg match in Camp Nou home ground.

It's really incredible. Barcelona didn't upset the faithful Barca supporters. With superb performance by the players, Barcelona penetrated Paris Saint-Germain's goal six times. Luckily, with the aggregate of 6--5, Barcelona eliminated Paris Saint-Germain from Europe Champions League last 16.

Tofu Corps Arsenal

England Premier League Team Arsenal was defeated by German Bundesliga Team Bayern Munich at Emirates Stadium.

Europe Champions League round of 16, Arsenal lost to Bayern Munich (1--5) during the away match. The Gunners hoped to overturn Bayern Munich in the home match at Emirates Stadium.

However, Arsene Wenger was frustrated because his team was unable to topple Bayern Munich in the second leg match at home ground.

Arsenal lineup played like soft legs craps and humiliated by Bayern Munich (1--5) again. The embarrassing result was really disappointed the Gunners fans.

The Revenge Of Ultraman

The revenge of Japan Ultraman was on show in India New Delhi on 25 May.

As Malaysia has banned Ultraman, that's why Ultraman turned into badminton players and thrashed Malaysia Thomas Cup Team in New Delhi.

Japan had upset China and versus Malaysia in the final. Malaysia is one of the world top ranking in badminton but defeated by Japan in Thomas Cup Final.

It's all the fault of water spinach. If Prime Minister Najib Razak didn't advocate Malaysians to eat water spinach, Thomas Cup Final outcome would be different.

2011 Malaysia Youth Volleyball Tournament

The 11th Malaysia Youth (Under 14) Volleyball Tournament is currently held in Malacca. The venue of the tournament is at Malacca Bukit Serindit MBMB Basketball Stadium.

The tournament was kicked off on November 23 and will be ended on November 27. There are 22 teams (Boy and Girl) from 11 states taking part in this tournament. The above photo shows the competition between Penang girl team and Kuala Lumpur girl team.

For you information, the Malacca Bukit Serindit MBMB Basketball Stadium was built for hosting the basketball game during 13th Malaysia Games in June last year.

Spain Won The 2010 World Cup

I wrote an article on predicting the winner of the 2010 World Cup in December 2009. Based on the grouping of the 32 finalists, my favorite teams were Spain, England, Brazil, Italy and Argentina.

The defending champion Italy was unable to regain its title. Even it was knocked out in the group match. With four World Cup titles, Italy was unexpectedly collapsed at the first blow. Although England fought vigorously against Germany but it ended up with frustration. The face of English coach Capello was full of disappointment.

The South American samba crashed, the Brazilian had to return early. They were sent off by the Dutch. Argentina which was in command by Maradona couldn't repeat the 1978 history of scoring by hand of God. They had to pack their luggage and returned home.

Fortunately, the 2008 European Cup champion Spain defeated Netherlands by 1 : 0 and emerged as the eighth World Cup champion.

13th Malaysia Games 2010 Part 2

After leaving Merlimau Polytechnic, I was heading to Hang Jebat Sport Complex in Krubong, Malacca. The above photo is the Hang Jebat Aquatic Stadium. It's the venue for diving and swimming events.

Hang Jebat Aquatic Stadium meets the Olympic Games standard. The swimming pool has 10 lanes. The lanes are 50 metres long. On the left and right sides of the swimming pool are the spectator stands. The diving platforms and the electronic score board are at both ends of the swimming pool

The electronic score board displayed results immediately. As you can see from the photo, the results were shown clearly.

The diving platforms are at the opposite side of the electronic score board. The diving event for that day was 1 metre springboard. When I arrived at the Hang Jebat Aquatic Stadium, the diving event had ended.

Participants of the woman 4x100 metre medley were ready to compete.

The contestant of man backstroke was swimming toward the end point.

Winners of the woman 100 metre backstroke were enjoying their victory during prize giving session. They were the champion Chan Kah Yan (Wilayah Persekutuan), first runner-up Loo Hei Di (Selangor) and the second runner-up Cheng Karmen (Perak).

13th Malaysia Games 2010 Part 1

The 13th Malaysia Games had kicked off on 10 June in Malacca. The games will be held for 10 days.

The above photo is the Merlimau Polytechnic. It's the venue for rugby and gymnastics events.

The rugby was over when I arrived at the Merlimau Polytechnic field.

Proceeded to the Platinum Hall, it's too late too. The gymnastics event for morning session had ended.

The Platinum Hall was empty. The judges were having their lunch in the canteen.

2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa

As the draw ceremony had been held in Cape Town of South Africa, the grouping of the 32 finalists of 2010 FIFA World Cup was completed.

2010 FIFA World Cup will begin on 11 June next year in South Africa. Mexico from Central America will challenge the host of the tournament that is South Africa in the opening match at Johannesburg's Soccer City.

France was so lucky to have a fabulous draw. It's in Group A with South Africa which is the lowest seeded team. Argentina, England and Germany are among the lucky teams which were drawn in Group B, Group C and Group D respectively. They clear their path to semi-final because they avoid meeting strong opponents such as Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Netherlands.

Since I had retired, I can enjoy watching live broadcasting of the 2010 FIFA World Cup until the next morning. My favorite teams are Spain, England, Brazil, Italy and Argentina. Hopefully one of these teams will be the Champion of this tournament.
