Pinnacles Desert Video




Pinnacles Desert was one of the destinations during our visit to Western Australia.

I had shared the photos of Western Australia trip. Now I am uploading a video clip of Western Australia Pinnacles Desert.

The distance between Perth and Pinnacles Desert is around 254 km. That's why it takes one whole day for a round trip from Perth to Pinnacles.

Sand surfing is the activity you shouldn't miss when you are visiting Pinnacles Desert. There are many fancy ways of sand surfing. The easiest way is just sit on the surf board and slide down the sand dune.

Besides sand surfing, you can try four wheel drive bus bumpy drive. The bus goes down and up the sand dune. The Pinnacles desert bumpy drive is truly exciting.

Western Australia Farmstay


Western Australia Farmstay

We stayed overnight in a farm during our Western Australia trip.

Western Australia Bus

We were heading to the farm with this bus after visiting Caversham Wildlife Park.

Sheep

It's too long ago, that's why I couldn't remember the name and location of the farm.

Llama

Besides sheep, there were other animals such as cattle, horses, and llamas in the farm. Llama is mini camel without hump.

Western Australia Farmstay

Various activities were provided for visitors. Riding horse was one of the activities we had experienced in the farm.

Sheep Shearing

This was the photo of a sheep shearer showing his wonderful skill of shearing a sheep. It really needs to be skillful to shear a sheep. If not, your ass will be kicked by the sheep.

Old School Bus

This was the old school bus of the farm for "Bumpy Ride" around the farm. The bus driver drove the old school bus up and down hill. This "Bumpy Ride" was truly fantastic.

Western Australia Farmstay

Visitors were allowed to feed the animals in the farm. My wife was with a worker of the farm feeding a lamb. The two boys behind them are my sons.

Perth Caversham Wildlife Park


Caversham Wildlife Park

Caversham Wildlife Park was one of the destinations during our Western Australia trip.

Caversham Wildlife Park Map

Located at Lord Street, Caversham Wildlife Park is a very popular wildlife park in Perth.

Peacocks

These two peacocks were truly beautiful but they refused to pose for taking photograph.

Kingfisher

A kingfisher was enjoying sunbathing in a confined area. The kingfisher didn't fly away may be it like to take photograph.

Koala

When you are around in Caversham Wildlife Park, remember to take photograph with koala. Koala sleeps 20 hours per day to retain energy.

Kangaroo

Is this kangaroo also liked to take photograph?
Actually this kangaroo was waiting visitors to give it some food. Feeding animals is allowed in Caversham Wildlife Park with condition sets by the administration.

Sweet Memories In Perth


Perth Airport

The incidence of MH370 flight reminds me of my trip to Perth Western Australia.

Perth

We flew to Perth on December 2002 and traveled around there for seven days five nights.

Vineyard

Vineyard was one of our visiting destinations. The green grapes were hanging in clusters on the plants.

Caversham Wildlife Park

This koala is the favorite animal of Caversham Wildlife Park visitors. Caversham Wildlife Park is located at Lord Street Perth Western Australia.

Shearing Wool

From Caversham Wildlife Park, we moved to a farm and stayed overnight. I can't remember the name of the farm because it's too long ago. The shearer showed us how to shear the wool of a sheep.

Black Swan

This black swan was enjoyed swimming in Lake Monger. Remember to drop by Lake Monger when you are around Perth. There are many birds at Lake Monger includes seagulls and Mandarin ducks.

Parrot

Besides watching various types of birds at Lake Monger, you can feed and take photo with beautiful parrots. As shown in the photo, the parrots will alight on your palm to savor the food you provide for them.

Kings Park

This is the photo of Perth renowned Kings Park in Western Australia. Kings Park is a botanical park at western part of Perth. From Kings Park, you are able to view the magnificent scenery of Perth City and Swan River.

Feeding Seagulls

Feeding seagulls in park is fun for kids when visiting Fremantle in Western Australia. Fremantle is a port which situated at the mouth of Swan River and about 19 km away from Perth. It's the main port of Western Australia.

Hillarys Boat Habor

It's around 20 minutes drive from Perth, Hillarys Boat Habor is the jewel of Western Australia. Hillarys Boat Harbor is facing the vast and deep Indian Ocean. Programs of whales watching are available from September to December.

Christmas

We had the opportunity to witness the Christmas procession in Perth. Before the parade began, we went shopping at Murray Street Mall and Hay Street Mall in that afternoon. Tourists and Perth residents were in festive mood starting from 7 pm.

Pinnacles Desert

This is the photo of Western Australia famous tourist attraction that's Pinnacles Desert.

Based on the tourist information guide I have, Pinnacles Desert is around 254 km away from Perth. In case you wish to get around in Pinnacles Desert, you should have time for a day to drive to Pinnacles Desert and back to Perth.


Sand Surfing

One of the interesting activities while you are visiting Pinnacles Desert is sand surfing. Don't miss the fun of sand surfing in Pinnacles Desert.

You can try different methods of sand surfing. The above photo is the easiest way of sand surfing. You just sit on the board and slide down the sand dune.


Indian Ocean

According to the announcement of Malaysia Prime Minister Najib Razak that MH370 had ended in South Indian Ocean.

This is the photo of South Indian Ocean. It was taken when we visited Pinnacles Desert. The water of South Indian Ocean was truly blue and the wing was so strong.

Hopefully MH370 aircraft can be found as soon as possible.

Christmas Parade In Perth Australia 02



This is another video on Christmas parade in Perth, Australia 2002. If you had watched the video of my previous post then you should know that the crowd was so excited of watching the parade.

Actually I planned to visit Australia in early December. The travel agency kept on delaying the departure date. Finally, I flew to Australia in mid-December.

My trip to Australia was 7 days and 5 nights. The Christmas parade was held a few days before Christmas. So it's coincidence that I had the opportunity to watch this excellent parade.

Christmas Parade In Perth Australia 01




In conjunction with the Christmas festival, I post this video clip to share with you. This video clip is about Christmas parade in Perth, Australia.

I recorded this video in December 2002 when I went to Perth with my family. I was lucky to have the opportunity to witness this Christmas parade in Perth.

The parade was scheduled to start at 7 pm. The streets were flocked with crowd as early as 2 pm because early birds could have good view.

I still remembered that afternoon I bought some fast food and canned drinks for dinner. The parade was remarkable. Hopefully you enjoy watching this video.
