While I was visiting South Korea in February, it just happened that a grand sale for foreign tourists was on-going.
In order to coordinate with Visit Korea Year campaign, Visiting Korea Committee conducted a grand sale for foreigners. The date of the sale season was from 10 of January to 28 of February 2011. Some of the participating companies were E-Mart, Times Square, Homeplus Mart, The Shilla Duty Free, Galleria Luxury Hall, Doota Shopping Mall, Lotte Department Store, Hello Apm Shopping Mall, Hyundai Department Store, Shinsegae Department Store.
Apart from shopping, discount also available for dinning, entertainment and hotel accommodation.
