Nik Aziz Supports Mat Sabu As PAS Deputy President

Mohamad Sabu

Kelantan Menteri Besar Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat sustains Mohamad Sabu to be the Deputy President of PAS. He urges Mohamad Sabu to act as a bridge for PAS to interact with non-Muslims.

Mohamad Sabu won the party presidency with a majority of 21 votes in a three corners fight. He defeated vice-president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man who clinched 399 votes and incumbent Nasharudin Mat Isa who got 224 votes.

Although mainstream media campaigned for ulama candidates, Mohamad Sabu still managed to rejoice the triumph. The consequence evidently proven PAS has determined to burn the boats to march toward Putra Jaya.
