Merlimau by-election had provided a platform for PAS and Chinese community to interact. As a result, Merlimau Chinese had the opportunity to understand Islam in more detail.
Since former Member of the Malacca Legislative Assembly Datuk Mohamad Hidhir Abu Hasan passed away because of heart attack, PAS immediately started to campaign in Merlimau. PAS central leaders came to Merlimau in succession to give speech.
After more than a month of listening and observation closely, I realized that PAS leaders are enlightened and friendly to people. They were not as alleged by MCA president Chua Soi Lek and his malicious cronies. It shows that Chua Soi Lek is so afraid of PAS has a good relationship with Chinese community.
Menteri Besar of Kelantan Nik Aziz, Menteri Besar of Perak who was elected by the people Mohammad Nizar and Shah Alam Member of Parliament Khalid Samad are typical examples. They never kiss the kris to threaten the people. Pakatan Rakyat state government wouldn't sent people who aren't guilty to jail without being trial.
Malaysian should be alert with the recent global changes. Let us together select a pragmatic and efficient government in the coming 13th general election.
