South Koreans also celebrate Valentine's Day but it's not on February 14. South Korea Valentine's Day is known as Pepero Day and it's on November 11.
Pepero Day is named after a Korean snack. As you can see from the photo, the snack is chocolate cookie. November 11 just like 5 sticks of Pepero cookies 11/11. That's why this festival is named as Peperol Day.
Nowadays, not only youngsters are rejoicing Pepero Day, adults and children are also greeting Pepero Day by giving Pepero cookies to family and friends.
